Faithfully Made Vol. I
Faithfully Made Vol. I
"And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden....and out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food."
I've been reading The Hidden Art of Homemaking. The author points out "God deemed it important to make a beautiful garden, artistic to the highest degree..." Sometimes I feel like my time is wasted when I spend time trying to make beautiful art or make our home pleasing to the eye. I was given a fresh perspective through this book and not only excited to create more art, but also to explore creativity in other aspects of my life. I hope what I share brings glory to Him who created all things, and also inspires you to try something creative.

Beauty in God's Creation
We planted zinnias and sunflowers in our garden this summer and are still enjoying the blooms. They inspired these new landscapes.

Something creative for you to try
Create your own floral arrangement with foraged wildflowers, leaves, weeds, from your backyard to display at your dinner table! (My girls love doing this with me) Add a candle or two the table setting. We tried this and it sparked some fun conversation with our girls. It also held their attention for at least 20 minutes, meanwhile My husband and I were able to actually finish our meal without getting up 10 times. Haha. (This was an idea from The Hidden Art of Homemaking)

How to arrange paper pieces on a shelf or Hutch
I framed a few of my new landscapes in gold frames and displayed them on the shelves in my hutch.

From My Garden to Yours
I'm including zinnia seeds in your order while I have them! They'll be perfect for planting next summer.
