'Old Made New' 

 

Each painting is sold unframed, but you have the option to add a gold floater frame or brushed silver floater frame. 

 

The edges of each painting are painted white and finished if you choose not to frame. 

 

This series is inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:17.

 

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

 

For this series, I revisited some paintings that didn’t turn out how I wanted or just didn’t feel quite complete. I added layer after layer of paint —day after day—until I finally each of these paintings emerged. 

 

The process of taking something I thought was unfixable and turning it into something beautiful reminded me of 2 Corinthians 5:17. Jesus takes us covered in sin and shame and makes us a new creation in Him. The old us dies aways, and He sees us in His perfect image.

Painting will be shipped from Hattiesburg, Mississippi via UPS ground within 5-7 business days if unframed. 

 

If you choose to add a frame, please allow 10-15 business days for your painting to ship.
